River Jam 25 Artist Preview: Lucas Jagneaux


One of the most beloved staples of Galleywinter River Jam is back for his fifth straight year—Lucas Jagneaux will take the stage at Lone Star Floathouse in New Braunfels on Sunday, July 13 as part of the 2025 River Jam lineup.


Hailing from Louisiana, Lucas Jagneaux brings a unique blend of country, southern rock, and gritty swamp soul that’s become a signature sound across the Red Dirt and Texas music scene. Whether you’ve caught him on big stages or at late-night jams, you know he’s a performer who leaves it all out there. From soul-drenched ballads to boot-stomping barnburners, Lucas and his band The Roadshow always deliver.


Lucas first played River Jam in 2020 and quickly became a fan favorite. Over the past five years, he’s helped define the spirit of the event—raw, real, and relentlessly passionate. His performances feel more like spiritual revivals than concerts, and that’s why we keep asking him back (and why the crowd keeps singing every word).
