The Galleywinter Listening Room concert series began in 2023 as a natural extension of what we’ve always tried to do...put the focus where it belongs: the songs and the stories behind them.
 

Inspired by the great listening rooms of Texas, these shows are built for artists and audiences who value intention. During the performance, the room stays quiet. If conversation is calling, we ask folks to take it outside. There’s plenty of time to raise hell before the lights go down and after the last note rings out.
 

The vibe is laid back. The moments are meaningful. These are the kinds of nights that stick with you.

The Listening Room was born out of conversations and shared dreams between the Galleywinter crew and husband-and-wife partners Scott and Shelby Webre. Since then, the series has hosted some of the finest songwriters working today, including Walt Wilkins, Drew Kennedy, Courtney Patton, Kaitlin Butts, John Baumann, Josh Weathers, Mike McClure, and Kevin Galloway, among others.
 

Our home for the series is the beautiful The County Line Events Center, just a stone’s throw from the childhood home of Willie Nelson.
 

Beer and wine are available for purchase. Bar is cash only, with an ATM on site.
 

The address may say Abbott, TX, but the venue sits right on the edge of West, TX. We claim both, and it’s easily accessible just off I-35.
