Josh Weathers Raises Over $300K (and counting) for Flood Victims

In less than 24 hours, Josh Weathers and his wife Kady put together something extraordinary. What started as a simple idea, “What if we just go live and I sing?”turned into a tidal wave of generosity and healing.

At first, Josh was just going to go live on his phone from his backyard like in the Covid days. But, soon the event expanded with a need to be hosted at Josh’s home church and a team was assembled.

Broadcasting across his social media platforms, Josh Weathers sat down, picked up his guitar, and sang for four straight hours alongside his bandmates Bubba Bellin, Paul Jenkins and Blaine Crews.

The result? Over $300,000 raised for flood victims in the Texas Hill Country.

And that number’s still growing, with silent auction totals yet to be counted.

For anyone who knows Josh, none of this is a surprise. The only thing bigger than his talent is his heart. His “Love Like You Mean It” charity and mission has long been a guiding light in his life. Music with purpose, compassion in action, love on full blast.

Tonight, that mission came alive in a way that was deeply felt across countless screens and hearts. God works through Josh. Constantly. Always has.

The livestream felt more like a front porch gathering than a digital livestream concert. There were stories, prayers, and songs that wrapped our cold hurt like a warm blanket. Thousands tuned in. Hundreds donated. Dozens of lives changed in a single night.

“One singer. Millions of broken hearts,” someone commented during the stream. And they weren’t wrong. But thanks to Josh, we also saw something else…hope. A giant step toward healing. The first salvo in what promises to be an overwhelming show of support from the Texas Music scene.

Tonight wasn’t just about music. It was about showing up when it matters most. And Josh Weathers showed up in a way that only he can. And in a way he always does when needed.

With heart. With soul. With love that he meant.

God bless Josh Weathers. God bless Texas.
