I don’t own a boat. I can’t go put my boots on the ground down in greater Houston right now. But, what I can do is band together with my musical brothers and sisters to provide a fundraising network.

Everybody out there waiting for help, it’s coming.

On Sunday October 8th there will be a Texas-sized statewide fundraising event being held simultaneously at a slew of your favorite music venues. Details coming over the next couple days, but I can assure you that no matter where you live in Texas, on 10/8 you will be within a short drive of a very special music event to benefit our Coastal friends in need.

We have a diverse group of industry folks (musicians, venue owners, radio etc) stretching from the Panhandle to the coast working hard on this. We are taking our time trying to get this organized to the best degree and do the maximum amount of good.

There are dozens of musicians donating their time and talent across the state that day to raise funds for our friends down south. From the biggest names you hear on the radio to the guys and gals busking for tips and everything in between.

Everyone is pitching in, the event list is growing by the day. So many folks have been helping each other out and it is inspiring and uplifting in the face of this devastation.

In the meantime, please continue to pray and send good vibes to our friends down that way.
