River Jam 25 Artist Preview: Nyles

Nyles Robakiewicz is no stranger to the River Jam stage. In fact, 2025 marks his sixth consecutive year gracing the Galleywinter weekend. But this year is different. This year is a rebirth.

After stepping away from his run with Shaker Hymns, Nyles is stepping back into the spotlight with a brand-new solo project — and he’s bringing a full band with him. The grit, the hooks, the soul — it’s all still there, but with a sharpened edge and a fresh sense of purpose.

This Saturday night set at Billy’s Ice marks Nyles’ official full band debut under his own name, and there’s no better place to unveil it than the stage that’s always felt like home. He’ll be kicking things off for River Jam veterans Thieving Birds, setting the tone for a night of high-octane Texas rock and heartfelt storytelling.
