Just for fun A new section for Face the Music – there are numerous places to turn for information in the scene – both on Galleywinter, and elsewhere, so we thought we’d provide you with a few links each week that might put new and exciting resources at your fingertips… Some say it’s the biggest event in Texas/Red Dirt music each year, and I for one tend to agree – it’s Musicfest 2006 in Steamboat Springs, CO. For those of you that have never experienced it, check out the video link on page 35 of the thread – it’ll give you an idea of the experience that is sometimes difficult to put into words…
Also check out Mavrik Magazine! This is a new publication that includes stories and interviews and in-depth event reviews that you can’t find anywhere else. The premier edition is available now and they are busily working on the next edition as well… You can also get yearly subscriptions to ensure that you don’t miss out on anything! Check it out!
