River Jam Artist Preview: The Buffalo Ruckus

Comparisons are easy to come by, but hard to live up to.  One of my most trusted gatekeepers of taste in this scene once told me that The Buffalo Ruckus was as if The Band met the Allman Brothers in Texas and never left.  That’s high, hyperbolic praise that seems outrageous until you see these guys live.  They live up to it in spades.  Rootsy, real, rocking and even tender in the right spots.  This is a show and set that will stick with you hours and days and weeks after you see it.
