River Jam Artist Preview: Jamie Lin Wilson

Jamie Lin Wilson is a dynamic and vibrant light in this music scene.  A torchbearing trailblazer leaning with a unique sound, worldview and perspective. Her voice recalls the high lonesome voices of country music’s past, and her songs are stripped-down, heart-filled songs of truth that distill modern life to its most essential emotions. Despite her traditional country leanings, Wilson’s marvelous vocal and instrumental talents also give her some folk music chops as well. Like Emmylou Harris and a few others, her voice blends well with traditional folk songs, and Wilson’s ability to play guitar, mandolin, and harmonica also helps her standout among contemporaries. Jamie Lin Wilson is a true voice, both as a performer and a leader. We are stoked to have her back at River Jam and with the full band treatment.
