Mason Lively is another young up and comer we’re really high on. He started in the right places, with Cheatham Street and other Hill Country venues helping to get his feet wet.. He’s also learning from the right folks, his latest self-titled release was produced by Wade Bowen and Justin Pollard. Lively’s brand of country is an easy listen, anchored in Texas tradition while channeling a little John Mayer and bits of classic rock to spice things up. The songwriting and melodies are solid and he’s on his way to becoming a next generation mainstay in this scene.
Mason will be bringing his acoustic to our Sunday River Jam shindig at Lone Star Float House. It’s gonna be a good one.
