Mary Ellen Lollar cut her musical teeth singing hymns and leading youth groups until the open mic bug came crawling. Bouncing around the usual DFW establishments, Lollar looked to local heavy hitters like Zac Wilkerson and Heather Little for song writing inspiration. She’ll cover some Loveless, Lee Ann Womack and even REK, while mixing in some originals of her own. She’s been holding down the Tuesday night slot at Adair’s as of late, but you’ll get to see her do her thing on Sunday at Lone Star Float House.
