River Jam Artist Preview: Austin Meade

Lyrics and melodies for days, with the young energy to push them into your consciousness.  Austin has broken through from being a very buzzed about act on the come up, to rightfully staking his claim in the middle of the scene.  Meade carries on the proud tradition of singer/songwriters hailing from Aggieland, but with a fresh twist.  Meade brings a drummer’s timing and a bluesman’s heart to the show.  It’s a rock show at its core, owing as much to Petty as it does Ragweed.  He’s charmed our River Jam audiences five previous times and this year he’s bringing the amps and attitude to the hallowed hall of Cheatham Street Warehouse to kickoff River Jam 2021 weekend. Since we hosted the world premiere for “Happier Alone” in February 2020, Meade has exploded.  He’s officially the next big thing. This will be a set that you will be seeing lots of people talking about on socials, so why not be there in person?
