Greenfest Artist Preview: The Bigsbys

The Bibsbys are proudly continuing the tradition of the southern/roots rock resurgence in Texas currently being led by Whiskey Myers.  Raw, bluesy and full of emotion, this is a band blasting out heartfelt lyrics backed with the crunch of Gibson firepower.  Fresh and real.  They never let the intensity overrun the emotion.  As they said about themselves “gritty, but easy on the ears.”  That’s about right.   These boys bring a young edge to a style of music that can grow stale in the wrong hands.  We are glad to have them kicking off Greenfest Saturday. Get there early to see one of the next big things in Texas Music.
