Greenfest Artist Preview: Seth James

You will not find a better vocalist or musician in Texas than Seth James.  He is the total package.  Whether fronting his own projects or trading riffs with Cody Canada in The Departed, James has proven himself a talent to be reckoned with.  Few artists with such a blues lean have such a country background.  James has a booming voice that evokes each note of emotion out of his lyrics.  His guitar playing is blistering and amazing.  James recently decided to take a step back from The Departed to focus on other ventures and play a little more sporadically…and for the pure joy of making music.  That decision to not chase dollars, but to chase the notes has found James making some of the best music of his career.  We are happy that he’s decided to make one of his rare gig appearances at Greenfest this year!
