2nd Annual Galleywinter Crawfish Boil

Where: Sundance Hall, Coldspring, Texas When: Saturday April 9, 2005 Time: 5 PM to 1 AM How Much: BYOB, $10 door fee, $5 Crawfish

Please join us on April 9th for the 2nd Annual Galleywinter Crawfish Boil. This year’s boil is hosted by TX Angel and will be held in Coldspring, TX at the Sundance Hall. 500 lbs of Crawfish have been ordered but if you don’t like crawfish there will be fried fish, as well as other food to enjoy. This is the best time of year for all the Galleywinter Members to get together and enjoy good food, good friends, and GREAT Live Music featuring the Josh Ward Band! The JWB are awesome and feature our own, Josh Ward and norm himself.. Josh Norman. You’ve heard these guys ramble on GW now you can see how good they are in person while hanging out with some good friends!

This is also the perfect time of year to take a road trip! Blue Bonnets will be abundant and the weather is bound to be amazing! Sundance is one of the legendary dancehalls in Texas, open for nearly 30 years and has played host to alot of great bands. With 10,000+ square feet of space there is going to be room to eat some crawfish and party! Sundance is BYOB so load up your ice chest and head out to the beautiful piney woods of East Texas.

Directions to Sundance: If you are traveling I-45 North take the FM 1097 Exit in Willis. Turn right onto 1097 and follow until you get to the intersection of FM 1097 & Hwy 75. Make a left onto Hwy 75, at the next light take another right back on to FM 1097. Travel approx 10 miles until you reach Hwy 150. Turn right onto Hwy 150. Travel approximately 25 miles. Sundance will be on your right, look for the big “Sundance Sign” you cannot miss it.

If you are traveling I-45 South take the Hwy 150 Exit in New Waverly. Stay on Hwy 150 until you get into Coldspring, directions are the same as above.

If you are traveling 59 North take the FM 2025 Exit in Cleveland. Take FM 2025 approx 20 miles. FM 2025 will intersect with Hwy 150. Turn left onto Hwy 150 and travel ½ mile. Sundance will be on your left.

If you are traveling 59 South take the Hwy 150 Exit in Shepherd. Take Hwy 150 into Coldspring. Turn left at the 4-way stop by the Courthouse (you are still on Hwy 150) Continue throught the town of Coldspring approx 5 miles. Sundance will be on your left.
