Don't feel bad Cathy. Just becase everyone else has their album and you don't doesn't mean you have to sit there and wait. Sure times are hard, but I got mine at Best Buy for 10.69 on the day of the release. Buy one from a B&M store. Then when you get yours in the mail, give it to someone else as a gift, donate it to a GW cause or giveaway (such as the Ike Benefit) or just keep it for when you were the first one out. RRB would probably have at least 10 less albums sold from all my multiple copy purcahses. When I'm dead, put me 10 multiple copies deep.

There more I look at the cover the more I see.
There is also an apple on top of the truck/grill guard.
There is the RRB logo right above the apple.
The words Peaches? I can tell the last letters "aches" but can't really tell what the first two are and the word Hope are next to the rose and the little stick figure.
I wonder what the apple means and what peaches and hope represent. |
I thought the apple, was a peach, for " peaches" and then you have also an R and a C on each side of the grill for roller coaster and also a roller coaster on each side of the grill above it, and then the c s w for for cheatham street on the grill, and then there is a door above the stick man.

The album is good but not great IMO. I have to give it a lot more spins though. Rollercoaster is still the best album to me.

give it time craig, i thought the same thing. ive listened to it probably 8 times through. not as good as rollercoaster, but lets be honest, if they ever put out a album better than rollercoaster, ill be shocked. you have to try not to base everything off that album or you will be disapointed. i know im preaching to the choir with you, but still.. this is an amazing album.

Ditto. I don't think anything will ever compare to Rollercoaster. IMO the best album ever in OKOM. But this one gets better and better every time you listen to it.

I love it.
In My Arms Instead - in my head constantly. What a haunting chorus? Trying singing along to it... You realize just how gifted Randy is as a vocalist.
When The Circus Leaves Town - sonically reminds me of CCR's version of Mexican Sky. It shows off this band's musicianship well.
Metaphor time:
For me, this album is like a homemade ice cream taste-off festival. There are so many different flavors (song arrangements, moods, tones, & subject matters) yet it's still homemade ice cream which is always sweet & good.

I bought it yesterday, it's all I've listened to since I opened it. I generally don't take a new CD out for a week or two. That's what I have to do for things to grow on me.
I liked it at the beginning, wasn't great but now it is def. growing on me. The more I listen to the words and they stick in my head, the more I like it.
