Today in Music
One day like today...
2001
The new Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum opened it's doors in downtown Nashville.

1999
No Doubt sues Carlsbad, Calif.-based clothing manufacturer No Fear, claiming that clothing items bearing the "No Doubt" name infringe on the group's copyrighted service mark, which the band uses on its own merchandise.

1980
Drummer Peter Criss leaves Kiss for the first time.

1974
Ray Stevens hits #1 across the board with his goofy take on the 70's phenomenon streaking. Appropriately enough, the song was called "The Streak"

Not sure if these have too much of a religious undertone or the vibe your looking for, but he's some songs that might work.

On a Cloud - Ragweed
Blindman - Tom Skinner and Mike McClure or Stoney acoustic
Make It To The Mountains - Randy- Crouch or Stoney acoustic
Blue Skies - Great Divide

Sorry for your loss.

Thank y'all for the songs and sympathies. As fast as every thing went and trying to get stuff together our minds went blank on the music. My cousin was an opinionated, no holds barred sob but he was our opinionated sob.
